Want to learn more about the DFL? If you live in the 45th District, this monthly meeting is a great way to get to know your DFL legistlators, party activists, and other interested citizens. Senate District 45 DFL meetings are open to the public.
We meet on the third Wednesday of every month at 7 P.M. Meetings are held at the Crystal City Hall located at 42nd Avenue N. and Douglas Drive in the lower level Community Room.
Saturday, March 15th brought one of the best attended district conventions for Sentate District 45 DFL'ers in recent history! The credentials commitee reported over 450 delegates in attendance, with several alternates being to be upgraded.
In addition to adopting changes to the bylaws and constiutions, delegates voted on resolutions, elected SD-45 Party officers, endorsed candidates for MN House of Representatives and of course selected delgates to the MN DFL and CD5/CD3 conventions.
Congratulations to Representatives Lyndon Carslon and Sandra Peterson on gaining the convention's endorsement in your respective MN House races!
